Drunken Piper, The | Bowing Down Home
About this tune
This is a Scottish pipe march, played in reel tempo. The original tune had four parts but on PEI fiddlers generally only play two or three of them. The Omar Cheverie version (see accompanying notation) has three parts; the Hilda MacPhee MacDonald version has only two parts (notation for her version appears in The Fiddle Music of Prince Edward Island).
