About this tune

According to Sidney Baglole, this classic American tune - related to "Turkey in the Straw" and "Natchez Under the Hill" - was in circulation on PEI event before the radio became widespread there. Notation for Baglole's version is in The Fiddle Music of Prince Edward Island.
